Art 2

When the Spirit does not work with the hand,
there is no art.
-- Leonardo da Vinci

I love art ... and people who make art.  And, I treasure people who love art enough to fill their homes, offices and hearts with it.
Artists are brave and resilient people doing an incredibly demanding job ... continually facing the blank canvas and creating something new out of the gossamer thread of imagination while infrequently receiving recognition or rewards for their work.
I spent fifteen years working in the field of innovation and creativity in business and thought that was hard, but now I find that being an artist is even harder.  I am expected to make art, market and sell my art, run a business,  and constantly learn, grow and improve my abilities as an artist.  I can't think of anything more fun, but every once in awhile, it is downright daunting ... especially since it's so difficult to find people who can advise you about whether or not you're on the right track.
I would like to help.  I spent most of my career doing, thinking and living marketing and I'm finding those skills are coming in handy now, so I'd like to share some of them.
  • Artist Statement/Rackcard -- Artist statements are powerful ways to connect with potential clients and rackcards (those 4"x9" cards we often see in hotels) are easy and inexpensive carriers of your artist statement.
This 15 page booklet gives you everything you need to know to write a powerful artist statement and design a rackcard that paves the way to greater sales of your artwork.  $10
As a special bonus offer with this booklet, I am a free email review of your opening.  Once you've got that right, the rest is usually fairly easy.
